Slow Cooker Barbecue Beef Stew

I’m a keener on the slow cooker. It’s easy to set up and the results are good. This dish really does have the ‘cue flavour with some nice sweetness.

Assuming you’ve got cubed stewing beef, drop it into your slow cooker. Otherwise trim whatever beef your using into bite-sized cubes and then drop it into your slow cooker. Sprinkle on the onions and garlic.

Put the water in a medium bowl and stir in the chili sauce, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, marjoram, mustard, salt, and pepper. Pour the concoction into the slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours.

Stir the flour into the ¼ cup of water. Pour mixture in the slow cooker and mix everything up. Increase the heat to high, cover, and cook for 10 to 15 minutes. Sauce should have thickened up by that point. If not, cook a little longer.
